Sourcing objectives and strategies of HR

If you are asked to list the objectives of your sourcing efforts, would you be able to make a list, and then prioritize it to reflect the current circumstances of the company who hired you to handle their sourcing function? The obvious answer is to source qualified candidates. That answer is too simple, and may not reflect the immediate business objectives of your company. Ask yourself, what problems are you trying to solve? The 12 most common objectives of sourcing include the following; identifying talent, secondly finding candidates who are interested; third, filling your pipeline with talent; fourth, saving money; fifth, identify and utilize new resources for talent; sixth, improve branding and perception of the company; seventh, decrease the time to hire; eighth, attract more active candidates; nine, find more passive candidates; 10; pipeline talent in advance of needs; 11; screen candidates in or screen them out; and 12, increase quality.

These 12 objectives reflect the goals of talent acquisition professionals.
