How to effectively source and recruit talent

Throughout your career as an external recruiter you need to learn to effectively source and recruit talent, because you want to represent the best. Your name goes on the back of every single person that you send out to one of your clients, and in recruiting what you're trying to do is bridge that gap from where they are now to the jobs that you offer, basically satisfying the lives and the needs and the hot buttons of these candidates that you're going to represent. And you have to represent best talent, but you've also got to represent it faster than your competition, which is why you need to identify new resources for talent every single quarter.

And one of those places that you can go to find new resources is ask your candidates what resources they're using when they're in a job search. You'd be amazed at the new resources that won't cost you a dime that they will uncover that are very effective in finding people just like them. Now prior to your recruiting presentations, there's some things that you have to do.
