Content Marketing: Photos

I'm the co-author of the international best-selling book "Content Rules". I'm also a life-long photographer and I rarely leave my house without a camera. Humans are visual creatures and we like to see things whenever possible. As you've probably heard, a picture tells a thousand words. And that is as true today as when it was first said. This course will focus on introducing the importance and uses of photography in your content marketing mix. We will discuss where to find photographs to use, how to become comfortable taking your own, and why hashtags are so important.

The best thing is that this course is meant to lay a foundation for your success using photography in your marketing efforts. I've assembled a playlist of some of my favorite photo courses here on Lynda.com that I encourage you to take after this one to continue learning more about photography. In the meantime, let's get you started with using photography in your content marketing.

Great visuals make content more engaging and share worthy. In this short course, content marketing expert C.C. Chapman, author of the best-selling Content Rules, will help you incorporate photos in your content marketing mix. He goes over considerations for taking photos, and shows how to find stock photos when you don't have the resources to shoot your own. Plus, learn which social media platforms are best for sharing photos—and how to use hashtags to make sure your content is discoverable.
