The explosion of social media platforms, particularly LinkedIn, has rapidly accelerated the ability to sourcers to build talent pipelines, making it easier than ever to react quickly when job openings occur. It would be wise to track all candidates you've sourced for previous searches, but the logistics of actively maintaining would be incredibly time-consuming.

Candidate details are so quickly outdated. They don't reply to email. And the shear number is impossible to manage. Less than 20% of sourcers or recruiters actively maintain contact with passive potential candidates.
