Human Resources: Running Company Onboarding

I'm a consultant, trainer, and author who helps teams unlock their hidden potential. One way to help a team succeed is through an effective employee onboarding program. Onboarding one employee can be challenging. It gets really tricky when you have to onboard dozens of employees in different departments across multiple locations. There's a lot that can go wrong. Employees might not get adequate training, they might feel disengaged, they may never even reach their full potential. A lot of coordination is required to make sure an employee onboarding program runs smoothly.

This course will show you how to do that. We'll start by defining the onboarding process. When does it begin? When does it end? And who is involved? Next, we'll discuss how to determine what training topics you'll need to cover during the onboarding program. This is a big challenge because some companies cover too much while other companies cover too little. This course will help you get it just right. Finally, I'll show you how to create an engaging onboarding experience for your new hires. The goal is to help them feel like they've joined a great company, give them the skills they need to do a great job.

If you've trained new hires in the past, you probably notice that they're eager to get to work and make a difference. We're probably like that too, so let's get started with this course.
