Screen out, hire, or possible future hire
Screen out, hire, or possible future hire
- Most individuals I've met in the recruiting profession are remarkable individuals who, on daily basis, change people's lives for the better. There are not many other careers that provide this level of satisfaction, however, you will only place a small percentage of the individuals who you attract in a job. Most recruiters are social workers who like money, but if you allow the social worker side of your personality to surface, you can literally limit your success in this profession.
You must focus on the candidates that you will place. Your hiring authorities want you to identify top talent that are, of course, going to hit the ground running, with the exact experience and skills that they have requested. Our job is to make the hiring authorities look good. They want us to attract candidates who become engaged, provide a return on their investment that they can retain. One of your greatest challenges as a recruiter is your ability to manage what you do with your time. You have human beings on both sides of the sale.https://www.linkedin.com/learning/interviewing-a-job-candidate-for-recruiters/screen-out-hire-or-possible-future-hire
