How to See Who Viewed Your LinkedIn Profile
Are you interested in knowing who has been checking you out on LinkedIn? What you can find out will depend on whether you have a free or a premium membership.
In both cases, you will need to set your privacy settings so that viewers will see your name and headline in order to generate information regarding who has seen your profile. Here's how to adjust your settings to see who has viewed your LinkedIn profile.
Free LinkedIn AccountsFree account holders who elect to display their name and headline will then see up to five results of who has viewed your profile, the number of visits to your profile, and the number of times you've appeared in search results.
The information which you will be able to see about your viewers will depend on how they have designated their privacy settings. If they have set "name and headline" you will see their name, job title, and employer. If they have elected to stay partially anonymous then you will see limited information like title and industry, or company only.
In cases where they have elected to be totally anonymous you will see "LinkedIn Member" or "Someone from the United States."
Premium LinkedIn AccountsPremium users will see an unlimited number of people who visited their profile and other information like trends in viewership and industry representation. However, premier users will not see additional information about any viewer who has restricted access via their privacy settings.
Where to See Who Viewed Your ProfileThe information about who has viewed your profile will appear toward the upper right hand corner of the home page for your profile.
