UGC Ph.D Fellowship 2018-19
PhD Level.
Eligibility
(a) Candidate must be a teacher holding permanent/substantive position in a public university/government college. No part time teacher will be considered for the fellowship.

(b) Candidates must have enrolment in Ph.D. Program in public universities.

(c) Fellowships are meant for full-time research, and candidates must be granted study leave/deputation by the concerned authorities, if finally selected by the UGC for the fellowship.

Apply Procedure
Prescribed application forms and guidelines for the fellowship may be downloaded from the UGC website UGC website.

A pay order/bank draft of Taka 500.00/(Five hundred)only to be issued in favor of University Grants Commission of Bangladesh, from any branch of Janata Bank, should be enclosed with the application form.

Applications must be submitted through proper channel.

Incomplete applications shall be considered as rejected.

Complete set of application along with necessary documents, shall be submitted to "The Secretary, University Grants Commission of Bangladesh, Agargaon, Dhaka-1207".

Special Note
***** A fellow who prematurely discontinues his/her work without valid reason acceptable to the UGC, shall be liable to refund the total amount (drawn by him in this behalf) in the style and manner to be decided by the UGC.
