The demand for IT talent

The lack of top tech talent is great news for technical recruiters. The current number of technical college graduates will actually produce a tremendous shortfall of technology talent that is needed. Do you know that software developers right out of college are demanding significant starting salaries, and it's almost immediately after they start their job that they can get up to 20 recruiting calls a week? What's even more interesting, when they leave their job after a relatively short period of time, the salary increase can be as much as 20 to 25%.

Tech talent actually fuels innovation and drives productivity, and the skills shortage can cripple any economy that relies on IT advancements. Hiring technical talent is a top priority and is creating a high demand for technical recruiters. Businesses understand the impact of technology talent on the success of their business, on maintaining a competitive advantage, on their customer loyalty, on the revenue their company can generate, and on their overall productivity.
