Talent sourcing methods

Talent sourcing methods can be overwhelming when you think of the amount of new resources that pop up almost daily. Trying to understand the information overload thrown at you can prevent you from utilizing some basic sourcing methods that work once you understand some basics about sourcing on the web. Search engines such as Google crawl the web collecting the content from web pages. Most people use Google to conduct simple searches, they type in a few keywords and usually obtain the results they need on the first or second pages of the search results.

When sourcers utilize search engines to source people, where the right results are subjective, the process is more complicated. It is more difficult to express exactly what you're searching for utilizing a few keywords. On the other hand, copying too much information, like a full job description, into a Google search will not provide any results. You must search using advanced boolean syntax.

And the definition of syntax is the sequence in which words are put together.
