When The Medical Sale Takes Longer Than Expected

The medical sales call seemed to go well. The customer said "Let me give it some thought." You thought that meant they wanted to think about it for a day or two, maybe a week. But time is passing and you're no closer to closing the sale. What happened? What happened to the customer's enthusiasm? Why do medical sales sometimes take a long time to close?
