Skills Assessment Tool
This tool was developed to test the knowledge and skills required for evidence-informed decision making (EIDM) and provide resources to help fill identified gaps. Topics covered by the tool include critical appraisal of evidence, interpreting research results and strategies for knowledge translation. The examples included are directly relevant to public health.

HOW TO USE THIS TOOL
Launch the tool to complete a series of multiple choice questions on topics relevant to EIDM. Please note that this tool is housed within the National Collaborating Centre for Methods and Tools' Learning Centre and you will need to log in with a free account. Upon completion of 20 questions, a personalized report lists resources to develop areas that need improvement.

If you are unsure of an answer, we encourage you to select "I Don't Know", instead of guessing, to optimize learning opportunities in your final report.
